ye tan, female, born in beijing in 1956. bachelor of history (1982), master of arts (1985), doctor of economics (1988). she worked in a state-owned enterprise in 1971, taught at beijing normal university in 1985, and served as an assistant researcher, associate researcher, and researcher at the institute of economics at chinese academy of social sciences since 1988, and now is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the graduate school of the chinese academy of social sciences. the main academic expertise is the study of the history of chinese economic thought. in 1993, she received the social science outstanding contribution expert allowance issued by the state council. in 2012, she was awarded the title of great wall scholar of the chinese academy of social sciences. she has successively served as a researcher of the japan society for the promotion of science, a researcher of the international exchange fund, a foreign researcher of waseda university, buddhist university, etc., an academic committee member of the chinese social sciences quarterly (hong kong), an academic title judge of the institute of history of the chinese academy of social sciences, nsfc peer review member, member of the editors of journals such as "chinese local records" and "books of expositions", member of the 19th century society of economics and thoughts in japan, and vice president of the chinese society for the history of economic thoughts.
